Let’s learn to craft together with the Fantasy Floral Quilt Pattern! This pattern is great for beginners, with only two quilt blocks to learn and a repetitive nature that is great for chain piecing. Each quilt block has assembly instructions with diagrams that walk through each step of the process. The design lends well to a variety of color palettes, where you can use muted tones, an array of blues, earth tones to connect more with the natural inspiration of the pattern, or vibrant colors to bring out the floral design. Inspiration for this pattern:
I recently took a trip to the Scottish Highlands, where I was drawn to the quiet calm of being out in nature, surrounded by mountains, wildflowers, and wildlife. This inspired me to design a quilt pattern to express the calm I felt while exploring Scotland.
I created this pattern to remind myself and others of the beauty in simplicity. It allows your fabric to shine without being overshadowed by the patchwork, while still having enough detail to feel special. I hope this quilt brings you a sense of calm and appreciation for nature, the way this trip did for me!
